HOOK TO THE LIVER - THE WBC YEAR 2013

PLANNING FOR A NEW HABITAT.WHILE HAVING GREAT EXPECTATIONS OF LEAVING THE ICU THIS COMING WEEK, WE CONTINUE TO SIT IN THE SAME WAITING ROOM THAT, MORE THAN A ROOM, ...

... has become our habitat. We have learned so many things about life during this stage, valuing many things that we usually take for granted, things that we don’t appreciate at first sight but that still are there, something like a simple smile, a kind word of courage or a pat on the back that makes life much greater.

WORLD BOXING COUNCIL NEWS

From the office of WBC President Dr. José Sulaimán:

The following is one of the weekly “Hook to the Liver” columns that have been published in El Universal every Sunday for the last five years and written by WBC President Jose Sulaiman.

This column was written by his children - Pepe, Lucy, Hector, Fernando, Mauricio, and Claudia - while he recovers from surgery.  Translated from Spanish:

Something that made Don Jose very happy was Manny Paquiao’s comeback, and he enthusiastically said, "Manny is not in decline. He showed his great boxing skills and totally dominated his rival."
