WHY WAS SOUTHPAW LUIS COLLAZO CHOSEN AS THE OPPONENT TO DECLARE AMIR KHAN WILL BEAT FLOYD JR.?

IT IS DIFFICULT  TO  UNDERSTAND WHY TEAM AMIR KHAN WOULD SELECT SOUTHPAW LUIS COLLAZO AS THE FINAL STEPPING STONE BEFOR BOXING FLOYD MAYWEATHERJr.?

This not the only raised question on Amir; it has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the basic problem with the style of Amir is that he is vulnerable to counter-punchers, yet on the Amir Khan radar screen this does not appear to be the top priority for the new recently appointed Coach/trainer Virgil Hunter. Perhaps, Mr. Hunter is the new Angelo Dundee or Cus D’Amato and time will confirm or reject this possibility However, the manner in which he uses the pads is the most unorthodox style possibly ever witnessed.

After watching a session on the pads between Mr. Hunter and Amir it appeared scant attention was paid to perfecting the Amir Khan defence, instead the pads were held in positions that caused Amir to be carefree with his defence above the shoulders.

To reach the pads with left hand hooks by natural movement caused the Amir protective gloved right hand to consistently drop away as the protective face guard.

At times the pads were held low if Amir caught an opponent with a selection of punches in the area where the pads were he could likely be instantly disqualified.

The long standing style of Amir is that he boxes often from a full frontal stance, which means when he unloads punches he becomes vulnerable to dangerous counter-punches.

Southpaw boxing stylists are more often than not natural spoilers. This means the selection of Luis Collazo as an opponent that is likely to make Amir perform at his best and be seen as the opponent to end the unbeaten record of Floyd Jr. was not made by the Brain of Boxing.

Gambling is best confined to lush casinos. In a boxing ring gambling is often a last resort. ~
