MULTI BOXING CHAMPIONS IN EACH WEIGHT DIVISION SERIOUSLY HURTS BOXING

THE LACK OF RESPECT FOR WORLD CLASS BOXERS, BOXING FANS AND THE MEDIA, IS EXEMPLIFIED BY THE STATEMENT MADE BY WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO WHO SPEAKS FOR HIMSELF, OTHER BOXERS AND FANS.

WHEN WLADIMIR LOST TO TYSON FURY RECENTLY HE ALSO LOST THE WORLD TITLES, IBF, IBO/WBA/WBO. HE SAID, “THE TITLES ARE SECONDARY” TO HIM. “IT’S NOT ABOUT THE BELTS,”

HIS VICTOR, TYSON FURY SAYS HE IS NOT CONCERNED WITH MULTI WORLD CHAMPIONS BELTS IN EVERY WEIGHT DIVISION.The return rematch was scheduled for July 9 but a recent Fury nkle injury has caused the return fight to be rescheduled and October 29 is the suggested new date.

The return date, however, will require the four sanctioning bodies IBF, IBO/WBA/WBO to agree on the date. This has to be nonsense that injures respect for professional boxing.

It gains zero benefit for  the true World champions, boxing and fans.

Boxing is gaining respect and popularity worldwide. The nonsense reality of having having over 200 legal World sanctioning bodies saanctioning  World champions in each weight division endangers the growth of boxing across the globe and has to cause disrespect instead of respect for World boxing champions, boxing fans and, of course, boxing.

Sanity must be restored to The Sweet Science without loss of time.
